ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Roads and Works Department is the engineering arm of the Parish Council that deals with all technical issues and has responsibility to facilitate and ensure the delivery of service to the general public as it pertains to the directives of the Council in the most effective, efficient, transparent and financially responsible means possible as guided by respective laws, legislation and policy directives.
This department has overall responsibility of the Council’s properties and equipment. The department is also responsible for maintenance of Parochial roads, bridges, and minor water supplies. This department is also responsible for building inspection, building approval and building inspection.
