The National Housing Trust (NHT) intends to construct fifty eight (58) two-bedroom units at Granville Housing Development, Trelawny and invites applications from interested contractors.
Note: The NHT only requires sixteen (16) contractors.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Evidence of Tax Compliance, and
- A copy of a valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certificate in the category of Building Construction OR Civil Engineering Works with Grade 3 or Grade 4 rating.
COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS:
Terms of Reference and application form may be collected from the Procurement & Stores Unit, at NHT’s Head Office, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $1,000.00 (payable in cash or Manager’s Cheque, at the NHT Cashier). Documents will be available from Tuesday, March 7, 2017, between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Note: Failure to directly purchase the Application Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process.
PRE-APPLICATION SUBMISSION MEETING:
A Pre-Application meeting will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 am in the conference room of the Construction & Development Division, NHT head office. All related queries should be submitted in writing to the Procurement & Stores Unit (at the contact listed below) on or before Wednesday, March 15, 2017.
RETURN OF DOCUMENTS:
Application forms and other relevant documents are to be placed in the Tender box labelled “Labour and Small Materials Programme, Granville Housing Development, Trelawny” located in the Procurement & Stores Unit, on or before 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Public Opening of the applications follows immediately after the application submission deadline, in the Procurement and Stores Meeting Room, National Housing Trust Head Office Building.
Late Applications will not be accepted.
N.B.: The NHT reserves the right not to award a contract to any party with whom it is currently in litigation or with whom it has been previously involved in litigation.
