The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites registered National Contracts Commission (NCC) suppliers to submit tenders to supply, deliver and offload 124,500 6” Concrete Blocks at the Granville Housing Development, Trelawny.
ELIGIBILITY FOR TENDER:
Tenderers must provide:
§ Evidence of tax compliance
§ A copy of a valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certificate in the category of Hardware and Haberdashery OR General Supplies specializing in the supply of blocks and cement blocks
§ Copy of a Valid Bureau of Standards Jamaica Certificate for Block Manufacturers.
COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS:
Tender documents can be collected from the Procurement & Stores Unit, at NHT’s Head Office, The Michael Manley Building, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5, on the payment of a non-refundable fee of $1,000.00 (payable in cash or Manager’s Cheque at the NHT Cashier – Head Office). Documents will be made available from Tuesday, November 15, 2016, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Note: Failure to directly purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/no-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process.
RETURN OF TENDERS
· Sealed bids are to be placed in tender box labeled “Supply of 6” Concrete Blocks for the Granville Housing Development, Trelawny”, in the Procurement & Stores Unit, Ground Floor, The Michael Manley Building, NHT; 4 Park Boulevard on or before 10:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
· Public opening of the tenders will follow immediately after the bid submission deadline in the Procurement & Stores Meeting Room, Procurement & Stores Unit, National Housing Trust Head Office Building.
The NHT reserves the right not to award a contract to any party with whom it is currently in litigation or with whom it has been previously involved in litigation
