The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites bids from registered National Contract Commission (NCC) suppliers to supply, deliver and offload thirty-one thousand nine hundred (31,900) bags of Ordinary Portland Cement at the Granville Housing Development, in Trelawny.
ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER:
Bidders must provide:
§ Evidence of Tax Compliance.
§ A copy of a valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) certificate in the category of Hardware and Haberdashery OR General Supplies specializing in Cement.
N.B: A Manager’s Cheque or tender bond stamped by the Commissioner of Stamp Duty in the amount of JA$349,000.00 is also required.
COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS:
Tender documents can be collected from the Procurement & Stores Unit, at NHT’s Head Office, The Michael Manley Building, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5, on the payment of a non-refundable fee of $1,000.00 (payable in cash or Manager’s Cheque at the NHT Cashier – Head Office). Documents will be made available from Monday, November 7, 2016 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Note: Failure to directly purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process.”
RETURN OF TENDERS:
§ Sealed bids are to be placed in the designated tender box labeled “Supply of Ordinary Portland Cement for Granville Housing Development, Trelawny” in the NHT’s Procurement & Stores Unit on or before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
§ The public opening of the bids will follow immediately after bid submission deadline in the Procurement & Stores Unit Meeting Room, located on the ground floor of the National Housing Trust
“The NHT reserves the right not to award a contract to any party with whom it is currently in litigation or with whom it has been previously involved in litigation.”
